GRACE E. WELLMON
Dancer - Choreographer - Teaching Artist
Grace E. Wellmon is a Pittsburgh-based dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist. She graduated from Messiah University with a degree in Communications and a minor in dance. She is currently a Company Artist with Confluence Ballet Company, where she also serves as the Media and Marketing Director. Grace is a teaching artist for dance studios and outreach programs in the Greater Pittsburgh Region.
Before moving to Pittsburgh, Grace had performed in and choreographed for many community theaters, companies, and programs across the Central Pennsylvania area, including Keystone Theatrics, Players on High (Carlisle Theatre), Chambersburg Ballet, and Theatre Harrisburg.
Grace is passionate about communication, relationship building, and teamwork. In her years of dance training, she was taught dance technique and how to perform, but also learned about hard work, dedication, thinking outside the box, and group collaboration. She envisions her combined passions of communication and dance will help her to continue to teach dancers of all levels and abilities and create a safe and collaborative atmosphere in creative spaces.
